At Amazon in Spain, I work on using generative AI to create product images at scale for amazon.com.
Product images are often the first thing a shopper sees, and amazon.com's catalogue is enormous. Generative AI makes it possible to create imagery at that scale, provided the systems around the model are built for it.
That's my focus in the UPMT organization. It's current work, so I keep the details of internal systems internal, but I'm happy to talk about the problem space.
Image models start from pure noise and remove it a little at a time until a picture is left. This toy runs in your browser and only imitates that process. It isn't a real model and it isn't what we run at Amazon.
